Sports and Cultural Activities

The new session starts with “Akhand Path” for 1st semester students , special ‘Ardaas’ to seek the blessings of the almighty and followed by “Langar”

Seniors had given welcome party to the fresher’s, at the colorful platform named “Ibtyada”(the beginning) in the current year which was packed with cultural activities, fun and lot of dhoom- dhakada, followed by sumptuous lunch.

On the occasion of “Guru Nanak Jayanti” celebrated by the Society a langar on in which all components of GRKIST group of institutions also participate whole heartily. Before Lungar phenomenal rally is organized covering all main streets of town.

‘Pharmaswing’ is the of Annual cultural & sports event of GRKIST (Pharmacy), in which cultural/ literary competitions namely debate, extempore, rangoli, drawing, flower decoration , salad Dressing and games competition namely chess, carom, inter -collegiate cricket tournaments are organized.

19th Pharm swing successfully accomplished on 22 feb 2019 in which champions of all sports segments and runner up were awarded with prizes and blessed by Sardar K.S. Bansal (Honorable president, GGSES) Sardar G.S. Reel (Manager GGSES). Thana Incharge (barela) and sarpanch (Kukrikheda) were as also present as chief guest.

Pharma swing 19 consisted with following highlights

Uniqueness of Pharmaswing’11 was Girls Cricket match, Girls Kho-kho competition, for the first time. Besides these cricket competition (Boys), Volley ball, Kabbadi, 100meter race, 200 meter race, relay race, needle race, lemon race, sack race, tug of war etc.

During all the sports programmes students had setup food & games stalls offering Phalahari to variety of eatables. The simultaneous fate was fun, filling & taught students entrepreneur skills.
