The institution is established by the parent body "Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society". The pharmacy college is established under the aegis of Guru Ramdas Khalsa Institute of Science and Technology (GRKIST).

In year 2002, aspiring students of Jabalpur were given option of pursuing pharmacy education through GRKIST (Pharmacy). Earlier there was no option available in the region & for pursuing these courses and the students had to go to far off places.

GRKIST Pharmacy serves pharmaceuticals with comprehensive programs designed to meet the growing demand for pharmacy professionals. Students are being tuned to become survivors in this era of intense competition. Skills are being provided along with knowledge to make them True Professionals.
